Let's Do This Featuring Sam Tallent @ Blue Moose Tap House

Another spectacular installment of the Let’s Do This comedy show is coming at ya March 25th! Are you ready for this? Here are your comedians this month:

Hannah Tighe has been doing stand up in the Des Moines area for over two years. She recently got bangs and she’s a new woman now. She’s done shows in her underwear, shows with rap and festivals that have goofy names. She’s the other Basic in Des Moines’ newest comedy showcase, Brunch with The Basics, where she totally supports going bottomless, being in champagne or in life in general. Her mother doesn’t understand any of this.

Alosha Robinson is a not-rude comedian who founded the weekly DP Brewpen Mic and won a very big TV in CAB’s Last Comic Standing competition. He’s also a playwright and director, and co-created the freaky online sketch comedy series KNOCK IT OFF. He is not famous and can’t wait to talk to you after the show.

Donny Townsend didn’t give us a bio, but trust us when we say he’s one of the most original comics you will ever see. Dubbed “Dr. Bear Chili” by me, writing his bio right now, Donny hosts The Circumstantial Comedy Show every Sunday in Davenport in addition to being one of the regular hosts/features at Penguin’s Comedy Club. This is a guy you will not regret seeing.

…and your headliner: Sam Tallent!

Known for whip-quick wit and rollicking improvisations, Sam Tallent is one of the sharpest, most original rising talents in comedy today. He has been called “the absurd voice of a surreal generation” by the Denver Post, and, when not maintaining a “Black Flag esque tour schedule” (Savage Henry Magazine), Sam has worked alongside many of the biggest names in comedy, including Louis CK, Dave Chappelle, Doug Stanhope, Dana Carvey, Hannibal Buress and TJ Miller. Sam has performed at the Oddball Comedy Festival, High Plains Comedy Festival, Hell Yes Fest, the Chicago Comedy Expo and the NY Film and Television Festival. Sam regularly headlines his hometown club, the legendary Denver Comedy Works. He recently won his battle on Comedy Central’s Roast Battle, and was seen on VICELAND’s Flophouse as well as the Chris Gethard Show.
