Locally owned and operated since 1974, the Iowa City Brown Bottle is one of the oldest restaurants in the Iowa City area. The Brown Bottle specializes in hearty Italian fare: pasta, seafood, steaks, pizza, soup, salads, nightly specials and more. Lasagna is the most popular item on the menu; each month the restaurant sells more lasagna than coke!
Other favorites include chicken marsala, orange roughy parmesan, penne with vodka sauce, classic prime rib, and fettuccine alfredo.
