Free Movie Series
Begins June 11th, 2011
The Free Movie Series, founded in 2005, features a full-length movie on the University of Iowa Pentacrest. The Bijou Theatre provides refreshments each Saturday evening at dark and some movies offer special events prior to the feature film. The old screen from the Englert Theater hangs from the historic columns of Macbride Hall providing the perfect outdoor theater in the soft green grass under the shade of the old oak trees. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the movie!
