A Study of Iowa City History Using Maps and Photographs

With the aid of historic maps and photographs, Iowa City’s rich history will be explored chronologically. We will begin in the 1850s, when the first photos were made and bring our study up to the present. Many views will be shown that contrast what areas of the city looked like “then” compared to now.
