Back by popular demand, The Center will host an afternoon of speed “friendshipping” for people of all ages on June 7th. Using a speed dating format (but for making friends rather than dating), participants will have a chance to meet and chat with community members of all ages, have some fun, and potentially take the first step in creating new and lasting friendships. The event will start with a group ice breaker activity, shift to timed one-on-one conversations, and wrap up with open socializing and refreshments.
The Center’s intergenerational program series is designed to bring people together across generations to make connections in a fun and informal setting. These events present opportunities for people of all ages to get more involved in the community, stimulate their social routines, break down barriers between age groups, meet new people, and have fun! Presented in partnership with UI Women in Business.
