Embroidered Faces

Let’s make an embroidery of a friend, family member, or celebrity – why not?
First, we’ll use digital tools to simplify a color photo into a black-and-white stencil. After we transfer the image onto fabric in a 4” embroidery hoop, you’ll be free to fill in the black parts with simple satin stitches, running stitches, or go wild.
You’ll leave with a little piece of art to hang on your wall – or, on your own, you could turn it into a patch, coaster, or use it in a sewing project.
No experience with embroidery required. Comfort using computers is recommended.
