Lady Franklyn, Iowa City’s first professional improv team, is holding open auditions!

Lady Franklyn is a Willow Creek Theatre house team specializing in a variety of long form improv styles & performs weekly shows on the Willow Creek Stage every Saturday at 7:30 PM. Lady Franklyn also books gigs to perform at other venues/events around the region. All members of the team receive a portion of ticket sales from all shows they perform in. Rehearsals are typically Thursdays from 5-7, but are subject to change depending on the needs of the group.

Requirements: good attitude, willingness to be coached and be silly.  No previous experience required, although preference will be given to 4 types of experience:

First-Those who have completed WCTC’s Level Two Improv Class or Summer Intensive

Second-Those who have completed WCTC’s Level One Improv Class

Third– Those who have taken any amount of classes or have previously worked with WCTC

Forth– Those with previous improv experience. EXTRA CONSIDERATION.
