Celebrate International Women’s Day by taking images of strong women and feminist themes and making paper beads. Learn to roll paper to make a variety of different shapes of beads. Finish your beads with lacquer to make them sturdy and highly functional. Bring paper samples if you like: magazines, comic books, feminist poetry, old music sheets. Add some texture with thread. No one will believe these beads are paper. No experience necessary. Instructor: Desiree Dahl.
