The Iowa City New Horizons Band provides opportunities for older adults to play musical instruments. The band performs under the direction of University of Iowa Music Education students and professional music educators from within the band. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, ensembles from 8:30-9:15 am, and full band from 9:30-10:30 am. For more information, visit iowacitynhb.org.
