2/11: Healthy Meals on a Budget
In this session, participants will learn the benefits of meal planning including how it can help them save time and money. Building off the basics of the MyPlate guidelines, participants learn how to correctly read food labels and understand the contents to make healthier choices. The group will discuss ways to address common challenges among meal planning for 1-2 people and possible solutions. A healthy food sample and recipe card will be provided.
Kelly Wagner works as a clinical dietitian at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She is committed to promoting healthy eating habits throughout the lifespan.
Material Fee: $15/session; pay instructor. Registration required.
