Karen Kurka Jensen will be exhibiting art at the Iowa City Senior Center in March-April, along with five members of the Cedar River Artisans: Robert Fox, Nancy Lindsay, Marty Mitchell, Elizabeth Rhoads Read, and Lou Wendel. They are friends first, artists and mentors second, who love what they do and offer marvelous windows into the world around us. They have been working artists for many years and their works can be found in private, public, and corporate collections. These professional artists are once again coming together to present their individual styles in a new and unique exhibition. “Collaborations” will showcase the different mediums of their work, from sumi-e to photography, oils and acrylics, pastels and fiber.
