Ten Thousand Villages hosts it’s 8th annual rug event fundraiser with Bunyaad rugs, a fair trade job creation program for rug makers in Pakistan. Bunyaad employs men and women equally which brings economic stability to families in rural areas and sends their children to school. Rugs are hand knotted and heirloom quality wool and silk. Tribals, Bokharas, Persians and Kilims from 2′ x 3′ to 10′ x 14′ plus square, round, runners and pillows. On location at Coralville Hyatt Regency Hotel in the Borlaug and Clark rooms on the second floor from the main enterance. Wed. Sept. 25- Sat. Sept. 28 10am – 7pm  and Sun. Sept. 29 10am – 3pm.
