This six-week-long craft course in fiction writing will introduce key elements of short stories. Each participant will build toward a final short story project through weekly writing exercises, collaborative workshops, and brief readings and discussions. You will share and read work, experiment with craft, and end up with a polished, completed short story and the tools with which to write many more! Sara Luzuriaga will teach this class; she is a fiction writer from Philadelphia, currently in her first year at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. Membership required.
