Wet-Felting Wool Vessels

January 29 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

$5 – $66

with Jules Bunch
Sat. Jan. 29, 1-3:30pm at the IC Press Co-op (225 N. Gilbert)
pay-what-you-can: $5-$66

Learn the most ancient craft known to humankind – felting. Students will discover the magic of working with wool roving, turning loose fibers into soft sculpture through a process of arranging, wetting, and agitating. This workshop involves a fair amount of physical labor which many felters consider stress-relieving. Let your frustrations sink into the wool as you arrange, massage, roll, beat, and slam the wool into a felted work of art.

Cost includes all needed materials. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required to participate, and workshop size is limited to 6 participants. Open to ages 14+

Registration deadline: Jan. 15

*PS1 workshops are pay-what-you-can thanks to a generous grant from Kum & Go. $66 is the true cost of the workshop, and we encourage participants to select the cost that they can afford.
