A Consumer Loan Processor is responsible for providing accurate, timely, and compliant loan documentation for the consumer lending team.
Responsibilities
- Process consumer loan documentation using the LaserPro loan origination system.
- Assist consumer lending staff with contacting customers by phone and email for required documentation.
- Prepare loan distribution sheets.
- Perform compliance and documentation quality control review.
- Assist with updating processing procedures.
- Input loan information into bank’s core system.
- Provides maintenance check back to the bank’s core system.
- Assist Pre-Closer with preliminary pre-close review as needed.
- May assist with processing of loan payments.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school;
- Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Banking or financial experience preferred
