Hospitality Operations Director

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage staff, ensure high standards of food and service quality, and drive business growth. The General Manager will be responsible for maintaining operational efficiency while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team.
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
• Ensure food handling and production standards meet health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate catering services and banquet events, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Handle cash management processes accurately, including daily reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality products are sourced.
• Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Prepare reports on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Standing for 8 hours at a time.
• Able to lift up to 25-40 pounds occasionally
• Ability to develop, plan, coordinate, and implement marketing and social media for restaurant events and specials.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a managerial role within the food service or hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of catering operations, food production, and inventory control.

• Ability to train staff effectively in food handling and service protocols.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both staff and customers.

• Experience with Adobe Suite- Photoshop, Illustrator, and marketing with social media
• Experience using SharePoint or the desire to learn
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing
• Ability to maintain composure in stressful environments
• Holding a ServSafe license or ability to obtain a food handler license.
• At least 2 years of management experience

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
