Established in 1858, the University of Iowa Museum of Natural History has been free and open to the public for more than 165 years housing specimens, objects, and artifacts on display in historic dioramas to support learning and exploration. Serving both the campus and community, exhibits, programming, and play at the heart of Iowa City await. Year-round programming with special events held monthly.
