Ellie’s Greek heritage shines through in dishes like the Greek salad, Krith-a-raki, Lemon Sauté bowls, and other family recipes, adding a special touch that sets Z’Mariks apart. Come take a spin with Los Trompos! The giant interactive sculptures have traveled internationally and are now in Downtown Iowa City’s Ped Mall for the summer.

The concept behind Los Trompos is based on an approach of traditional toys, their colorful expression and the way they are constructed. The creators wanted to talk about the traditions and skills of the craftsmen in Mexico, as an inheritance of their culture. They like the idea of translating these techniques into new symbols.
