The Back to Dubuque Street Celebration Block Party

The Back to Dubuque Street Celebration Block Party kicks off tonight from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Come enjoy great food, drinks, and shopping from our local businesses, all while taking in free live music in the heart of Iowa City.

We’ve set up extra seating for lunch throughout the day, but feel free to bring your own chairs for the evening’s performances. It’s the perfect chance to relax, enjoy the new look of Dubuque Street, and soak in the fun atmosphere with your family and friends!

Here’s the schedule for tonight’s entertainment:

4:00 p.m. - Welcome
4:15 p.m. - Brad and the Big Wave
5:30 p.m. - BINGO with Micky’s Irish Pub
6:30 p.m. - Saint Silver

Celebrate the transformation of Dubuque Street while supporting the businesses that have been with us throughout the project. We’ll see you there! 🎶

Join us for the Back to Dubuque Street Celebration

Join us for the Back to Dubuque Street Celebration Block Party this Thursday, October 24th, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.

After months of construction, Dubuque Street is back and better than ever with wider sidewalks, new bike racks, and a refreshed streetscape. To celebrate, the street will be closed to traffic, allowing for an evening filled with live music, outdoor dining, and shopping. Local businesses will offer food and drink specials and retailers will be keeping their doors open for some late-night shopping. Bring your family and friends to enjoy the new look of Dubuque Street and show your support for the businesses that stayed open throughout the project. Outdoor seating will be available all day to dine on the street and guests are welcome to bring their own chairs and blankets.

4:00 p.m. - Welcome
