Whether you’re shopping for clothing, gifts, home goods, or wanting to send a gift, Downtown Delivers provides the community with another opportunity to support local businesses without leaving home.
This convenient service wouldn’t be possible without the dedicated Downtown Delivers vehicle, generously provided by Toyota of Iowa City. Thanks to their support, we’re able to make quick and efficient deliveries to customers throughout the area.
How It Works
Downtown Delivers is all about making local shopping easier and more convenient. Whether you’re buying clothing, gifts, home goods, or other soft-good items, you can shop at your favorite downtown stores and have your purchases delivered directly to you. No need to worry about parking or juggling shopping bags – we’ve got it handled!
Using Downtown Delivers is simple! Here’s how the process goes:
- Shop Local – Make a purchase at any participating downtown business.
- Request Free Delivery – Select the Downtown Delivery option at checkout or ask the store staff to arrange it for you.
- We Handle the Rest – The order is sent to the Iowa City Downtown District, who add it to the delivery schedule. Packages are picked up from the stores and delivered within 1-2 days, depending on the number of deliveries each week.
