Calming Mind Discussion Group
Mondays 7:00–8:00pm
We are learning together to relax the mind and body thru meditation, discussion, and contemplation. This April we will continue to use the book How We Live Is How We Die by Pema Chodron as a jumping off point for discussion. It is not necessary to have read the book to participate – we read a section out loud and discuss.
Schedule: Meditation / Discussion / Meditation
Our of our events are held without charge and on a drop-in basis.
No registration or experience is necessary to attend.
We have both cushions and chairs available.

We Offer Meditation in the Tradition of Generosity: Garchen Mila Buddhist Center continues the ancient Buddhist tradition of providing the teachings freely to all who are interested. We have no paid staff and the center is run entirely by volunteers. We are able to offer meditation without charge to the public due to the generosity of our members. If you begin coming to the center regularly, please become a member to support our programs. If you come once in a while please consider making a small donation for that day.
