Please join us from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for Claudia McGehee’s annual Iowa River Frost Fair and café Gallery show at Prairie Lights!

Inspired by historic artisan fairs held on the frozen river Thames in London, which is home to her ancestors, the River Frost Fair will be hosted by Iowa City based Illustrator/Author Claudia McGehee, who will sign her picture books and her new 2026 Engagement Calendars, and will also give scratchboard demonstrations. We will have lots of her new holiday cards, stickers, and prints on hand! All who stop by will receive a small Frost Fair paper gift.

This year, the Frost Fair extends to a 2nd Floor café gallery show, where Claudia’s framed (and unframed) prints will be exhibited and available for purchase.
