The Englert is excited to welcome classically trained Indian dancer Kuldeep Singh back to our stage for a special, immersive presentation of new works – intimate and on-stage with the audience.

A master of the traditional Indian dance form of Odissi, renowned for its rich methodology of storytelling, gestures, and movement, Kuldeep Singh’s art brings centuries of Indian music, dance, and culture into focus through pieces that are distinctly modern and uniquely him. The pieces are multidisciplinary – using traditional Indian music, short film and sounds – and centre around the themes of queer subjectivity, identity representation, ecofeminism, and decolonial thought.
