Tickets for the in-person event will go on sale on Tuesday, December 6th at 10:00am online. Tickets are individual and required for entrance into the event. The ticket button will go live right at 10:00am on 12/6 so set your alarms! *Please note, there are no physical tickets for this event. Guests will check in via a will-call list the day of the event with the ticket buyer’s name.
Downtown and Northside Marketplace restaurants will showcase their culinary creativity and prepare a diverse menu of signature dishes and desserts while district bars will showcase their artistic cocktails for guests to sample. The title “Top Chef” is awarded by a panel of culinary experts, but it will be up to YOU to determine the People’s Choice winners. Attendees can sample as many or as few of the items as desired and will be able to sample from 13 entrees, 10 mixologists, and 4 desserts. Tickets are $77 and include tastings in all categories.

How does the event work?
Top Chef: Downtown’s in-person event will allow all attendees to sample from 13 entrees, 10 mixologists, and 4 dessert booths from restaurants throughout Downtown Iowa City. During the evening guests will then vote on their favorite entrees, desserts, and drinks and awards will be given out to the People’s Choice in each category.
Where should I plan on parking?
Attendees should park at the Dubuque St parking ramp next to the Graduate hotel.
Do I need to bring my ticket?
No. We will have a check-in list of attendees’ names. All attendees should check in under the ticket buyer’s last name.

What else do I need?
All attendees will need to provide an ID if wanting to consume alcoholic beverages.
