It’s here! @herkyonparade has officially begun and is celebrating its 20th anniversary alongside Herky’s 75th birthday. 100 new statues will be displayed from May through August throughout Iowa City, Coralville, North Liberty, Tiffin, and Solon areas with over 20 of them downtown.

Each Herky was made by a local artist and ICDD is proud to sponsor ‘Herkitron’ in Black Hawk Mini Park in the Ped Mall, designed by artist @drewetienne.

ICDD is teaming up with @kickitiowacity to manage pop-up opportunities for our “In the Meantime” space on S Linn St. Co-founders Tyesha and Demetrius Perry will bring their expertise to support local businesses, vendors, and entrepreneurs interested in testing the downtown market.

Throughout the next two months, the space will offer the opportunity to shop a variety of vendors and pop-ups with downtown businesses:

- May 23rd - 26th: @catherinesboutique Warehouse Sale
- May 28th - June 9th: @villages_iowacity Pop-Up with @global_mamas
- June 13th - 15th: Vintage Pop-Up featuring @_oddluck, @thriftbandit, @expired.cotton, and @custarhymes

- June 27th - 30th: Art Exhibit: “The Art of Saying No” by Michael Stenerson @wolf1200
