The University of Iowa Stanley Museum of Art is a leading university art museum that is always free and open to all to discover and enjoy extraordinary works of art, explore new ideas, and cultivate new insights into art, history, and culture. The Stanley has one of the most important university-owned art collections in the country, including African art, 20th-century painting and sculpture by artists such as Joan Mitchell, Jackson Pollock, Sam Gilliam, and Isamu Noguchi, works on paper, textiles, and ceramics. The Stanley offers diverse events and programs designed for all ages and interests.
