Storytime Room
Girls Who Code Club is for girls and non-binary youth in grades 3-5 who are interested in learning how to code. No previous experience necessary! The goal of this club is to create a safe and supportive environment of peers and role models where students learn to see themselves as computer scientists. Participate in coding challenges using a platform called Scratch, and learn about the design of video games, digital art, and robots!
Girls Who Code Club meets weekly from September 6 – November 8. Participants should plan to attend all 10 sessions, as each week builds on the previous session. Please register at https://hq.girlswhocode.com/login?redirect=/join-club/LlHF4R3uwYBD.

This club will be led by graduate students in the Hwang Lab for Neurocognitive Dynamics, part of the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Iowa.
