April 2: Urban Renewal in Iowa City: In the 1970s, an urban renewal program was carried out in downtown Iowa City. What led to this? How was it carried out? The rather complex story of the urban renewal process will be explored.

April 9: Johnson County in 1900:The historic 1900 map of Johnson County will be shown and its features discussed. Around this time, industrial growth took place and Iowa City was on the verge of significant expansion.

April 16: Historic Iowa City:Tom Schulein will discuss his new book, Images of America, Iowa City. Featuring over 250 vintage black-and-white photographs, the book is scheduled for release on April 1.
