This beginner Spanish class will focus on language foundations and exploring methods to extend your Spanish learning and practice beyond our class sessions. We will begin most meetings with a video lecture from the Great Courses to provide a basis for conversation and then spend time getting acquainted with a variety of other language-learning tools (such as games, flash cards, YouTube videos, streaming services, and language-learning apps like Duolingo and Mango Languages). Students are encouraged to bring their own tech devices to class (e.g. smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc.) for hands-on guidance, and tutorials will be provided for use outside the classroom. No class on Nov 10, 22, 24. Membership required.
