Chess Butterflies is a non-profit all girls chess club for girls and non binary youth in grades K-6, who’s mission is to empower young female chess players. Our goal is to foster not only a healthy learning environment but friendships and a sense of community.
The club usually consists of 30 minutes of free chess play, followed by a 30 minute lesson (via projector), and then a chess-related game/activity at the end for the last 30 mins.
