The new arts-based non-profit Fire in the Village is pleased to announce it’s upcoming Fall Tour featuring concerts and community art projects across the upper Midwest this Sept / Oct / November. Evening music performances led by Fire in the Village founders and touring songwriters Annie Humphrey & David Huckfelt (formerly of The Pines) will cap-off daytime community art workshops for kids and adults led by Shanai Matteson, centering around the themes of connection, inspiration, and shared solutions to climate and community concerns.

The concerts will feature contributions by guitarist / producer Jeremy Ylvisaker and a variety of up-and-coming young regional artists for shows in theaters, schools, churches, Tribal colleges and reservation halls across Minnesota and Wisconsin. “Fire in the village tour will bring music, stories, community, and an all-inclusive spirit of celebration; the purpose of this project and tour is to gather and create and be coherent together. To rise up and recognize the very real power within each of us.”, writes Annie Humphrey.
