In the second of three programs featuring newly commissioned works for violin and cello, the core ensemble violinist Miera Kim and cellist Carey Bostian, will take the audience around the world with works inspired by American, Gullah, Greek, Lebanese, Chinese, and Korean folk traditions. Expect music that makes your heart ache, transports you to another land, and makes you want to dance. “Voyagers” will include the world premieres of six new works by composers Wajdi Abou Diab, Jimmy Kachulis, Victoria Malawey, Lauren McCall, Jee Seo, and Roydon Tse.
