Do you want to better understand how Medicare works with other health insurance options? This two-hour Welcome to Medicare seminar, offered by Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) counselors, provides an overview of traditional Medicare benefits (Parts A and B, prescription drug plans (Part D), and Medicare supplements), as well as the growing array of Medicare Advantage plans. As a service of the State of Iowa, SHIIP counselors are trained by the state and do not sell or promote any insurance companies, policies, or agents.
