Join us for a relaxing and creative evening filled with hands-on candle pouring, custom scent creation, and interesting tidbits about fragrance oils, soy wax, and candle safety. This workshop will be led by Erika Christiansen, owner of Tura Lura Co. based out of West Branch, Iowa. Her kindness and sweet demeanor add a touch of charm to this leisurely affair. You’ll leave this workshop wanting to embrace candle pouring as your newest pastime.

During the first half of class you will choose your 9oz container from a wide variety of colored jars, blend your own fragrance, name your unique blend, and type up a custom label on a 1950s typewriter. This candle will be created by YOU, from start to finish.

The Iowa City Downtown District will provide complimentary glasses of wine for attendees while they learn, mingle, create, and enjoy themselves during a leisurely night Downtown!
