Presented by Summer of the Arts. Music on the Move began as a Truckload of Soul in 2020, when musician Kevin Burt approached Summer of the Arts about bringing live music to neighborhoods in the midst of a pandemic. In the back of a pickup truck, he played his guitar for some much-needed sound! We’ve since continued to partner with Iowa City’s Parks and Recreation Department to bring music to the neighborhoods every week during June, July, and August!
