Join Iowa City-based artist Barry Phipps as he discusses image sequencing for both traditional and experimental book formats. Drawing from his own experiences as a photographer and book artist, Barry will share insight on the opportunities and challenges of presenting images in a bound volume

DIY Pub Lab is a free and open meetup with a guest artist or collective at the Iowa City Press Co-op’s DIY Publishing Studio at 229 N Gilbert St. The guest artist(s) share their work in the first half of the program, and the second half is dedicated to informal Q&A, show and tell, and/or conversation with other participants. (So bring your own DIY publishing projects to share if you want!)
