Explore the fantastical art of Iowa City illustrator Candice Broersma in the “Cover Story” exhibit. The display features originals and prints from her personal projects and professional book cover commissions. Included in the collection is Broersma’s “Uncanny Forest” series of curious tree folk in mixed media as well as miniature scratchboards from her “Monster Buddy Project”. Enjoy the collection from now until March 1, 2024 at the Pappajohn Biomedical Discovery Building (PBDB), open to the public 7am-6pm Monday-Friday. Pick up a coffee from the 2nd floor Java House and head to the PBDB-MERF skywalk to peruse at your leisure.
