A program of Iowa City Poetry, IC Speaks seeks to develop and sustain an inclusive, thriving spoken-word poetry community in Iowa City that empowers youth from all backgrounds to speak their truths. Join us Saturdays for a 90 minute generative writing workshop that provides writing/performance examples, activities, and prompts. All teens 13-19 are welcome!
