Meeting at a Battle of the Bands, Cam and Gavin were in different bands competing for a grandstands slot opening for Brantley Gilbert. Shortly thereafter, they saw something in each other and after discussing influences, idols, etc., landed on the idea of going back to their beloved roots of country music and writing songs together.

After a few months into writing, the country duo would join the Midwest Country Music Organization and be nominated for “New Artist of the Year” at the 2023 awards show. Roseland was also nominated for four awards at the 2024 Josie Music Awards at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN. (Duo of the Year, 2x Music Video of the Year and Song of the Year).
