Welcome to the Tales of Summer: Pollinator Party!

Come celebrate National Pollinator Week with us in the garden!

Join us at the Robert A. Lee Community Recreation Center – Children’s Discovery Garden for a fun-filled event celebrating our buzzing friends. Get ready for a morning of learning and excitement as we explore the world of pollinators through interactive activities, games, and crafts. Discover the important role these creatures play in our ecosystem and how we can help protect them. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to connect with nature and have a blast with friends and family. See you there!

10:30am: Interactive Storytime

10am-12pm: Drop-in activities

– All pre-registered families will receive a Planting for Pollinators learning kit to take home (limited number available for additional drop-ins not registered, to pre-register, follow the link to obtain a free ticket – one per child)

– Design your own symmetrical butterfly!

– Interact with real caterpillars and butterflies!

– Learn about some of the plants in the garden that pollinators love!

– Spread pollen like a little bee in our sensory table!

– and more fun, hands-on learning activities and crafts!
