Iowa City’s biggest event of the year returns this summer! The 6th Annual Downtown Block Party is Saturday, June 24th, 2023 from 4:00 – 11:00pm and will take over 14 blocks in Downtown Iowa City. All of the programming activities and participation at the event are completely free and targeted toward all ages participation. The event instead sells event cups that allow attendees 21+ and older to purchase and take drinks from the bars and restaurants into the streets.
